Purchase Order Creation Overview

You use the Purchase Order Creation - Detail screen to create a new manual or sundry purchase order, or to load a purchase order you have previously saved. You can amend a purchase order at any time up until the goods are received.

To create and maintain purchase orders, you need to complete these steps:

  1. Either:
  1. Enter or maintain the purchase order header details.

Refer to "Maintaining the Purchase Order Creation Header".

  1. Add or maintain the items on the purchase order.

Refer to "Entering Purchase Order Lines".

  1. Edit other purchase order details.

  1. Manage the completed purchase order, e.g. print and/or post the order.
